camera iphone 8 plus apk Estes Proto-X FPV quadcopter - first flight (12-18-2014)

Just got this thing in and charged the batteries I got and took it outside for a test flight. I was surprised to get nearly 9 minutes of flight out of it. Batteries charged up in about 70 minutes instead of the 2.5 hours stated in the manual. All in all the video seems really nice directly from the quad's video capture. BTW, 9 minutes of video will create a file of right around 1 gb, so plan ahead when you buy extra memory cards.

Anyway, I was just trying to stabilize the controls and also position the quad around the garage as best I could. The quad seemed to want to drift backwards most of the time, so I probably need to spend more time getting the trims settled in and getting used to it. All in all, I would say this thing is a big step forward over the Hubsan X4 H107D that I got a little while back.

BTW, it was a little windy when I got over the tree tops, so I didn't want to try sending the critter up too high. As you can see from the video, my property is heavily wooded so if the quad had gone astray and out of the little clear area around my garage, it would have wound up stuck up in a treetop for certain. That would REALLY suck.

Anyway, so far, I LIKE IT!

ps, I tried to upload this as a native AVI file, but YouTube kept lopping out a chunk of the video, so I had to process it through Sony Vegas Pro to get it to upload as a complete file. Yeah, pretty boring topic matter, but I wanted to show the 9 minutes I got from the battery. Of course, I was DOG (dead on ground) for a small fraction of that time. :)
